  • Valley Forge, December 1777
  • Im freezing
  • Same, but the huts are filled with smoke, I dont wanna go back
  • Sickness
  • I feel very sick George, I dont think I can do this anymore
  • Im sorry to hear that, but we need all the help we can get

  • I have decided I will quit
  • Document C shows that the huts had smoke in them. It also shows that it was very cold at that time and men were getting ill.
  • Doc A shows the death estimate from illnesses. In December to June it shows us that 1,800 to 2,500 people died from illness.
  • I would quit because of the freezing cold and not having enough supplies. Also because of the illness spreading around causing many to die.
