This is a project for science about how some people eat strawberries for breakfast and how it's made/what energy it takes for you to have it.
Step 1: The Sun Distributing Energy to the Strawberry Stem
Step 2: Growing the Strawberry Stem
Step 3: Farmers Collecting the Strawberries and Distributing It
The sun distributes radiant energy to the Earth so everything is able to grow.
Step 4: Buying the Strawberries
After the sun distributes its energy, the stem takes the radiance and photosynthesizes, which lets the strawberries grow. The strawberries hanging on the stem have gravitational potential energy because they are off of the ground and could fall, due to gravity.
Step 5: Washing, Cutting, and Eating the Strawberries
The farmer collects the strawberries and then distributes them to grocery stores across the world. The farmers have the energy to collect the strawberries, by eating food from the day before and having stored energy in their bodies.
Step 6: Having Enough Energy to Last Until the Next Meal
With Energy From Stored Food
Without Energy From Stored Food
To get the strawberries you have to buy them at the grocery store. To get to the store you have to use your car, which has mechanical energy.
To have the strawberries you have to wash, cut, and then eat them. To wash, cut, and eat them you are using kinetic energy because it is moving energy, while doing all of these steps.
In order to have enough energy until your next meal, you have to have enough strawberries, so the food's energy will go into you, this type of energy is called stored energy.
