  • Native Americans in the War
  • Africans in the war
  • Women played a major role in the war. Some were spies, fundraisers, camp followers and some even dressed up as men and fought in the war
  • Foreign-Born Heros
  • Different Native American tribes sided with different sides. some chode to side with the British because they needed trade goods or were convinced to by other tribes. The tribes that sided with the Americans gave a lot of physical support.

  • Both sides promised freedom to any African if they joined their side if they won the war. Most Africans fought in the war but some were cooks. Two Africans who played a big role are James Armstead and William Lee
  • Weapons and tatics
  • These people helped in many different places during the war. some helped financialy by poviding funds and supplies. Others helped with raining and combat.
  • These spies changed the course of the revolution. They used invisible ink, masked letters and more. The most famous trader (Benedict Arnold) was spying for the British while being a general for the Continental army

  • There were many weapons used during the revolutionary war. The most common weapon was a musket. Pistols, bayonets cannons, and swords were also common weapons during the war. There ware also different tactics such as linear and Guerilla.
  • Musket, zzzzzz, cannon, zzz, oh I can't wait to use those guerrilla tactics either
