- Unpatched software is any program that has issues in it that the company is aware of but doesn't fix.
- Why should I check for unpatched software?
- If these loopholes are exploited, your information and passwords could be at risk! You could also be exposed to malware and viruses.
- Malware? Unsafe passwords? Oh no! How do I check if the software is patched?
- Unfortunately, you can't check whether software is unpatched or not. You can download an antivirus to avoid malware and simply manage your passwords by yourself.
- I'll have to get an antivirus. It's worrying that I can't avoid my data being stolen by hackers, though.
