The British have come up with yet, another tax, enraging the colonists even more, this tax called the "Tea Act".
When a new shipment of tea came, colonists dressed as mohawk indians came onto the ship and threw 342 chests of expensive tea overboard into the Boston Harbor. They shouted their slogan, "No taxation without representation!"
After the colonists wasting all that tea, the British weren't happy. They introduced the Coercive Acts, which the colonists nicknamed "The Intolerable Acts", which forced lots of unfair rules on the colonists, for example, closing the harbor into the colonists got enough money to repay for all that lost tea.
