At Virgil County High School a teenage boy brought a gun to school and started to fire in the building. In the bathroom, with Leanne Bauer and a few other girls she was one of six surviving witnesses.
A few weeks after the shooting, they had the survivors come and map out how the shooter came in and Leanne had a breakdown and ran out of the building.
Leanne and her friends that also survived now go to a spot in the forest every year after the anniversary. This helps them be together on the hardest day of their lives.
