The conflict between the parties is that Jefferson became President, Aaron Burr became vice president , there was a conflict between Burr and Hamilton.
The conflict resulted in the angered Burr to challenge Hamilton to a duel, however Hamilton's son had been killed in a duel in recent years. So when in the duel, Hamilton purposely shot in the air.But bottled up with rage, Burr decided to kill with intent.
A day later, Hamilton died of his injuries. It was later decided that Burr would be tried for treason and banished from the country to England. This is where his career in law and politics died. He could later come back to America, and he did in 1807 to keep practicing law.
