Storyboard Text

  • Esther and Xerxes
  • Medo-Persia is symbolized by the bear with the three ribs.
  • Greece is represented by a leopard with 4 wings and 4 heads.
  • Alexander the Great and a soldier.
  • Augustus and a soldier.
  • An unidentifiable beast with 10 horn represents the Roman Empire.
  • We are literally living a part of the prophecy in Daniel's dream. The downfall and capture of Jerusalem lead to Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome and finally us. History corroborates what the Bible is saying as well. The little horn that comes after the 10 horns can also be interpreted as the pope and the 'Sunday Law' comes from the the changes in time and law in Daniel 7:25. This tells us that we should be prepared for these changes and Jesus' Second coming.
  • Wow. All of these beasts held parts of the future of Daniel's time and the past of ours. They are relevant because they hold prophecies of Jesus' Second Coming.
  • So the next day, Michelle and Tiffany had a brief conversation about the beasts in Daniel 7.
  • I learned bare to be honest. Firstly, I was terrified of reading Daniel and Revelation because of the beasts and prophecies of the end times. But now, after gaining a better understanding of Daniel, the prophecies are as much past as they are future. I also realized that I need to be prepared for the Second Coming of Jesus because God's taking over us and the world and I don't want to be left behind or captured much like how Alexander conquered Medo-Persia.
  • So what did you learn when you didn't focus on the beasts?
  • Lion with eagle wings and gold head for Babylon, bear with three ribs and chest of silver for Medo-Persia, four headed leopard with four wings and thighs of bronze for Greece and unidentified beast with 10 horns and a baby horn and legs of silver for Rome. Then there's us with the clay and iron feet.
  • Who can tell me the order of the beasts and statue parts and what they represented?
  • The end.
