Along with the Neutrophils and the Basophils, there is Eosinophils. Eosinophils secrete chemicals to attack disease causing parasites and respond during an allergic reaction. All three of these Leukocytes are Granulocytes which means that they contain their granules in their cytoplasm
I'll get rid of all those nasty parasites! I'll also help you through your allergic reaction!
We are parasites and are here to harm you!
With Granulocytes, Leukocytes also have Argranulocytes which contain Lymphocytes and Monocytes, or Macrophages. Lymphocytes are involved immune system. Monocytes, or Macrophages when in the blood stream, dispose of dead or dying tissue
I'm going to get rid of this dead tissue for you!
I'm looking around your immune system!
Those were all the Leukocytes but that's not all of your blood cells. There are also Erythrocytes which are red blood cells. They contain hemoglobin which is what allows the cell to carry to oxygen throughout the body.
Here! Have some oxygen!
The last blood cells are the thrombocytes, or platelets. They help in blood clotting.
I'll help stop the bleed!
Those were all of the blood cells. To go over them, there were Leukocytes that have Neutrophils, Basophils, Eosinophils, Lymphocytes, and Monocytes. There were also Erythrocytes and Thrombocytes.
