Being a middle child.. well it means that your parents hardly EVER pay any attention to you, except for when you're alone with them. I'm Chloe Robertston, just an ordinary thirteen year old girl, and this is my story.
I sit in my room... alone. My older brother, Jacob is at baseball practice. My younger sister, Anna is at gymnastic practice. My mom is busy with with two-month old sister, little Isabelle. My dad is cooking dinner for all of us. So, yeah I'm alone, but I'm oh so used to it.
The baby had been put down for a nap and my other siblings were at their practices, so I had dinner with just my parents. (If you can't tell, they're super strict.) Also, the evening before, they had told me they were getting a divorce. I had gotten so mad, I had yelled at them.
For once I tell you, listen to your father! Go to your room!
You are grounded from electronics, leaving the house except for school, and friends until we say you aren't. You said so many things you shouldn't have earlier.
No! What?! That's ridiculous!
I stomped up the stairs to my room. A while after I was grounded, my mom yelled up the stairs, "GO TO SLEEP!" I tried to, but I had trouble falling asleep, I was so angry.
The bus came and picked me up in the morning. I arrived at my private school, Amhurst Prep. Thankfully, we don't have school uniforms. I'm grounded from friends, so I have to ignore all of them.
Great... now my own BFF hates me.
Yeah Chloe's acting like a jerk.
What's wrong with CHLOE?! She's been giving me the cold shoulder all day long. I should confront her.
