  • Rome is located on a peninsula in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. Rome is very rocky and has several Mountains.
  • Etruscan Influence on Roman Sports
  • An Uncle was worried that Romulus and Remus would fight over who would rule the kingdom, so he ordered them to be kidnapped and drowned in the river. The twins were then saved and raised by a wolf, until they were fond and taken in by an old couple. The twin's Grandfather later found the twins and took them back to the castle.Romulus ended up killing Remus over who would rule the kingdom.
  • Greek Influence on Roman Arcitecture
  • The Romans adapted and learned how the Etruscan built arches. An arch was built off two pillars which supported a half-circle of wedge shaped stones, connecting by a key stone in the center of the arch.
  • Greek Influences on Romes Religion,Art, and Writing
  • The Roman adapted the tradition of having slaves fight to the death at their masters funeral, the winner would then be killed by the masters son shortly after the fight.  The Romans also adapted from the Etruscan's chariot races, where the riders would be strapped into the cart. 
  • The Romans adapted Greek columns. The Romans also learned how to use concrete from the Greeks to build bigger structures.
  • The Romans used an adaptation of the Greek alphabet, they also wrote in all capital letters like thew Greeks. Also, they earned to make pottery from the Greeks. And, the Romans used the same gods as the Greeks but they changed their names.
