Leadership Mod 4 assignment : adventure of competition

Two girls of the same age go head to head for being the best player on the lacrosse team. There is lots of jealousy between the two and they constantly compete for the starting midfield spot.Both girls aspire to play lacrosse in college at the division one level of play. Emmiree(left) and Alex(right) are trying to be captains.
Emmiree faces a competition challenge against Alex because Alex questions how much of a leader and how good of a player Emmiree is. The girls go head to head and at the end of practice,coach tells them they will be fighting every week for the same position.
As tensions continue to rise the coach confronts the two about their competition becoming unhealthy. She tells the girls that their feud could affect the team’s chemistry and she will not have that, so they need to resolve their problems.
Emiree tries to fix things while Alex is set in her ways and continues to try and outplay Emmiree in every way possible. Emiree tries to eliminate tension at practice by trying to communicate with Alex and pas to her, make plays with her, and feed off each other’s abilities to lead the team to success.

Following post season and placing third in the state as a team, Alex transferred to play for their rival school due to not wanting to share the spotlight with Emiree. The whole team was angered that Alex betrayed the team to go play with their rivals.
At the end of the season banquet, the two girls receive the same award but with different names to it. While Emiree could not come to a resolution with Alex, she learned that there are always people who want to do better than you, and she should’ve attempted more to be the bigger person and pass the ball to her and make plays together on the field
