I'm poor and I will never ever get anything new and I will ask for money later
NO. I DON'T WANT TO GO.
I'm rich again.
In the 1800's there was a lovely couple, Mr. and Mrs. Loisel. Although, Madame Loisel had felt like a pauper (poor person) because she had nothing new and she always loved new clothes.
Am I a pauper now. I look so poor.
Sir Loisel had got tickets to a very fancy party but Madame got upset because she didn't have anything to wear. She refuse to go unless she got a new dress.
I dislike that I was so greedy I won't be greedy any more.
Madame Loisel decides to buy a new dress for the dance, but does not have any jewelry. She doesn't have enough money to buy more so she goes to a friend. She borrows a diamond necklace and go to the dance and parties the night away.
I bought a different necklace and I'm so not sorry.
Her and her husband get home until madame realizes that the necklace is missing. Sir Loisel goes all night searching for the necklace until they realize they are gonna have to buy a new one.
They lie to Madames friend and go to buy a new one. They get a lot of loans and use the husband's inheritance to buy a new one. After giving it back to the friend they move to a lower class house and have to work to pay off all the loans.
They manage to pay off all the loans after 10 years of hard work. Madame sees her friend on the street one day and decided to tell the truth. Her friend admits the the necklace wasn't diamond but it was paste.
