  • The colonists are angry that King George III is putting taxes on suger and making them put stamps {which cost money} on their paper. 
  • I agree. 
  • What can we do to stop him?
  • King George just wants more money. 
  • We could refuse to pay the taxes. 
  • These taxes are so unfair.

  • The colonists are angry, because there are British soldiers are patrolling the streets. They are throwing snowballs at Private Hugh White.

  • King George's III Brilliant Idea. 1766
  • The colonists are angry because King George III is taxing them. So, King George III repealed the taxes and passed the Declarotary Act, which enables him to have control of the colonies. 
  • Your Majesty, the colonist are protesting your taxes.
  • Then, I shall repeal them and pass he Declarotory Act which will enable me to have control over the colonies.
  • Excellent idea, your Majesty.
