- Barry Goldwater, in many instances, has said that he would exhibit some major changes to the social security system. He publicly opposed Medicare, which would help finance medical care for the old-age.

- If not, then vote for President Johnson!
- President Johnson, a man who stepped up when America was grieving, kept the promises of our beloved President Kennedy after his death by passing an $11 billion tax cut proposed by him.
- President Johnson persevered and passed the anti-poverty bill, wilderness bill, 5 education bills, and fought against Communist aggression. All of these actions show the clear positive intentions President Johnson has for his country.
