After Friar Lawrence speaks to Paris, Juliet asks for his help. The Friar proposes that Juliet tells her family that she will marry Paris and the night before her wedding, she will fake her death. Romeo will then rescue her at the tomb and spend their lives together. Juliet agrees and takes a potion that allows her to appear dead.
Juliet comes home and asks her parents for forgiveness as she agrees to marry Paris.
Juliet contemplates the consequences of drinking the potion, as she has a fear that she will not wake up. Ultimately, she decides to drink it.
Everyone is busy making preparations for the wedding.
Nurse finds Juliet "dead" and is followed by Lord and Lady Capulet and Paris. Friar Lawrence reminds everyone that Juliet is in a better place. They start preparing for her funeral.
