  • Luther opposite Pope Leo X´s proporsal, built St. Peter´s Basilica in Vatican. So in 1517 Luther created the Ninety - Five Theses criticising indulgences.
  • Luther said:
  • Salvation through faith.
  • Free interpretation of th Bible.
  • Reformation of sacraments: Baptisim and Eucharist.
  • Universal priesthood (rejected the hiecerachy and the members of the Catholic Church didn´t have to be celibate).
  • Religious orders: Virgin Mary and Saints were prohibited.
  • 7 sacraments
  • The Lutheran ideas were against the Catholic ideas.
  • Religious and military orders, Virgin Mary and Saints
  • For achieve salvation: perceips, faith and do good works.
  • Church's Bible interpretation (Vulgate Bible)
  • Hierarchical structure by celibate
  • Luther was expelled because he created his individual Christianity. He went to the Holly Roman Empire and expanded his ideas.
