As I step outside with my new black Nikes, I notice today wasn't like any other day.The sky was grey, there were no children out playing, and there was and eerie feeling I couldn't get my fingers on. "I'm going out for my morning walk!" I shout into our old wooden house. "Okey, but you know my rule," Mrs.Presly say with her deep crackly voice that sounded like a lawn mower. "Yes I know never go by the boat in the woods," I mumble.I never really knew why I wasn't aloud to go near that boat but rules are rules.
After awhile, 20 minets have passed, and i'm out of breath, I have no more water, and it looked like it was about to rain.I was thinking about turning around and going home, but then I noticed, something didn't feel right. My body was tingling, the air felt colder,The ground felt softer and that old abandon ship Mrs. Presly warned me about, felt a lot closer.
My mind is telling me to run, run, run away as fast as I can, but my curiosity got the best of me.I take one small step forward having so many regrets. I have sweat dripping down my forehead and my feet won't stop moving forward. "Go back!" I keep shouting at myself. But its to late. I'm already inches away from that old abandon boat.
Slowly shuffling my feet across the wet, grassy land, all that's running through my mind is fear, and curiosity. I carefully peak my head inside, at first I don't see anything just the pitch black darkness, but that all changed quickly.
Grrrr! "Ummmm hello?" I whisper in shock. I feel as blind as an old man with a cane wishing I could see in here. I keep hearing strange noises, and I want to leave but I can't. I tell myself, "I must keep going and stay strong." I feel even closer to the loud scary growl I have been hearing, but for some odd reason that growl started to sound like whimpers! As I get closer and it gets brighter I can spot six small wisker's and a small pink nose. I felt a big knot from my stomach untangle but I also felt kinda silly. The cuddly little creature grasps on to my arms.Me and my cat friend scurry along home eager to tell Mrs. Presly about this crazy adventure.
After this crazy adventure that me and my new cat have been on, I have learned that not everything is the way it seams. Even if something might seam scary or uneasy, just know there is always a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow.
