This storyboard does not have a description.
Hi, I am Toussaint L'Ouverture. Before I did anything for Haiti I was a slave.
I led a slave revolt after we got news of the French Revolution.
The radical group known as the Jacobins also helped slaves by voting and making us free.
During the Reign of Terror in France, the Jacobins lost power in Haiti and Napoleon took over,
But by 1803 Napoleon was ready to leave Haiti behind and he set up an agreement with me abut peace.
But sadly Napoleon betrayed me and took me prisoner. I died in a prison in a mountain but my legacy lived on and the freedom fight continued.
