Yes, we are condensing! The sun, which powers the water cycle caused us to evaporate and rise. As we rise up, we start to cool, causing us to condense and turn into a cloud.
Hey look! We are clouds!
Hang on tight...
Um, why do I feel really weird? Almost hot, what is going on?
What is happening?!
We are in the process of precipitation. We were clouds but as we condense, we start getting heavier until eventually, we turn back into water droplets.
We are going down a runoff. It pretty much means we are running down as water droplets off of Earth's surface due to gravity pulling us down.
Where are we now?
Are we back in the lake?
No we are in the ocean. But before you complain, be thankful we aren't groundwater. Groundwater is precipitation that finds its way underground. Eventually, it finds its way back up on Earth's surface but I still don't envy that.
Yeah, I would like being stuck underground!
Now, all we have to do is relax until the cycle starts again!
