  • This freed slaves in the states or regions still in rebellion against the Union
  • Oh father, what will we do about the government enforcing the draft?
  • Don´t worry Claire, #1 I´m not considered a citizen due to my race, and #2, lucky me cause there´s  no way we could pay the $300 to no longer be a part of the draft.
  • The rioters took everything from the asylum across the street, what will they do now?
  • Due to the riots, many innocent blacks were slain and their homes sacked.
  • Oh honey I don´t know anymore.
  • Most of the rioters were Irish, Claire, who was black and irish, left to join a riot then returned home after, some of her Irish friends were involved in the riots, Maeve and Liam
  • I´m done...I´m going to find Liam and Maeve.
  • Ugh, I don´t even know what to do anymore, I´m really scared
  • About 300, over half of them were policemen and soldiers, were injured, and there were no more than 119 fatalities, most of them rioters.
