Newton's 1st Law states: every object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless compelled to change its state by the action of an external force. Newton's 2nd Law states: Acceleration of an object depends on the mass of the object and the amount of force applied. Newtons 3rd Law states: For every action in nature there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Inertia is the resistance, of any physical object, to any change in its velocity.
newton's 1st law: If a ball is thrown, it will stay in the air, but because of gravity and wind resistance, the ball will slow down and fall down to the ground. Newton's 2nd law: When you push a shopping cart it is easy to push, but when add stuff in it the weight increases making it harder to push. to maintain the same speed you had when there was nothing in the cart, you would have push harder using more energy to maintain speed. Newton's 3rd law: when a fish swims through the water, it pushes the water backwards with it's fins to make itself accelerate.

Unbalanced: forces that cause a change in the motion of an object. Balanced: forces acting in opposite directions on an object, and equal in size.
