  • hi there. I am the cliff. my name is Ed. Sooner or later when the waves hit me, i will become a rock.
  • Waves doing hydraulic action
  • i am officially a rock as i have been broken of the cliff
  • Attrition
  • When rocks hit each other, they become smoother and rounder. This is attritition.
  • Wind at 90 degree angle, rock being deposited
  • I get washed to the shore where swash and backwash take me across the beach. This is longshore drift.
  • These man made groynes stop me from moving too far. They put these for tourism and to save housing.
  • Solution
  • Finally I erode into sand. soon, the sea will take me to places i have never been.
