  • They don't need fire, they are happy as they are.
  • Zeus, how come you won't give fire to mankind? Why do you make them suffer?
  • At Olympus...
  • Mankind is not happy. They live crouched in caves, fall prey to predators and sickness and eat their meat raw. So tell me, why do you make them live like this?
  • If I give them fire, they will grow strong and wise like the gods. They will be too dangerous. Soon, they will be storming Olympus! It's not up to you Prometheus, now leave.
  • Going against Zeus' wishes, Prometheus steals fire from the sun and gifts it to man.
  • Yay, Prometheus!
