Inge Auerbacher born December 31, 1934 the only child of Berthold and Regina Auerbacher her father made a living being a textile merchant there house was quite luxurious they had servants to help with the chores.
On November 10, 1938 hoodlums threw rocks at their home, police came and arrested her father and grandfather. Inge Auerbacher,her mother, and grandmother hid in a shed until it was quiet. Her father and grandfather were allowed to return home a few weeks later, that May her grandfather died of a heart attack.
At the age seven her and her parents were deported to a ghetto everything they owned was taken from them except the clothes they wore and a doll she owned the conditions were harsh simple things such ass potatoes were very valuable.Inge Auerbacher was just a scared child who was just hungry and did'nt know what was going on and why it was going oni think this affected her greatly leaving her with a great deal of trauma i think she is doing fine and is still alive trying to get past what she has gone through.
