  •  Inge Auerbacher born December 31, 1934 the only child of Berthold and Regina Auerbacher her father made a living being a textile merchant there house was quite luxurious they had servants to help with the chores.
  • On November 10, 1938 hoodlums threw rocks at their home, police came and arrested her father and grandfather. Inge Auerbacher,her mother, and grandmother hid in a shed until it was quiet. Her father and grandfather were allowed to return home a few weeks later, that May her grandfather died of a heart attack.
  • At the age seven her and her parents were deported to a ghetto everything they owned was taken from them except the clothes they wore and a doll she owned the conditions were harsh simple things such ass potatoes were very valuable.Inge Auerbacher was just a scared child who was just hungry and did'nt know what was going on and why it was going oni think this affected her greatly leaving her with a great deal of trauma i think she is doing fine and is still alive trying to get past what she has gone through.
