Alaska's funeral had a big impact on everyone, but nobody would feel the guilt that Miles and the Colonel felt because they let her die.
*SNIF* She was all I had left when my wife died. *SNIF*
Miles and The Colonel were asked to clean out Alaska's room and they found what changed the way they thought she died.
Straight and fast! Just like she hit the policce car. Do you think she killed herself?
Look at this! It says right here, "The only way out of The Labrinth is straight and fast."
In desperate need of any sort of closure, Miles and The Colonel did everyhting they could to find out what Alaska was thinking in her final moments, where she was going, and whether or not she meant to die.
I got it! It was the aniversery of her mom's death and she forgot. She always brings white flowers to her mom's grave on the aniversery of her death. I don't think we'll ever know if it was a true accident
So we know she drew white flowers on the wall while she was on the phone. She always doodled but they have to mean something.
Miles truly loved Alaska and she was taken out of his life almost as quickly as she was put in, and learning how to cope with her death was really hard for him, but one day at a time it got easier.
