  • There's never any parking in this area!
  • These residential parking spots are always empty around this time of day! Too bad I can't park in them.
  • Parking is so expensive around this area, and my parking spot is always empty, I wonder if I could rent it out somehow.
  • Problem: High density areas always have very little parking and whatever parking may exist in those areas will inevitably have incredibly high rates for parking, especially in downtown areas and near universities.
  • Let me put up my parking spot as availabe! I think $5/hour should be good
  • People: As a university student, parking on campus is incredibly cost-restrictive, not to mention there aren't very many parking spots available to park at all time.
  • This is great! Using this app I found this parking spot for only $5/hour! So much cheaper and easier than parking in the downtown private parking lots.
  • Product: An app that allows homeowners and other owners of parking spots to rent them out at specific times of time, at their own set price. People around the area will be able to find suitable parking and find the price and how long they will be able to park.
  • With all this extra income per day I got myself I fabulous new place! While still making money from that parking spot daily!
  • Plan: It creates an avenue for homeowners and people who don't own parking spots to help each other. In this age of technology it seems foolish to ignore the potential of renting out vacant parking spots especially when it can be carefully monitored through an app
  • Proof/Potential: Many small-scale implementations of a parking app that rents out parking spots have already began popping up, mostly in Toronto. They so far have been successful locally, however there is great opportunity to create a global app that maximizes the user baser. The revenue stream will depend entirely on the user base. as the plan will be to take 5% of each transaction, so the higher the userbase the more revenue it will generate.
  • Proposal: To get this app started, some marketing is necessary. The proposed initial step after making the app is to reach out to homeowners in potential areas and start targeted advertisements. The capital required for this is what I'm asking for. This marketing is an important step at jumpstarting this app, as it relies entirely on the size of the userbase.
