  • I am a lost boy from Never Land...
  • What if she doesn't like my singing!?
  • "I am a lost boy..."
  • Hmmm...
  • Good job!
  • I am a lost boy from Never Land...
  • It was around 3;00pm in October I had just got home from school and I was in my room. At school that day I learned about a play that my school was putting on called "A Never land Christmas". The main song in the play was "Lost Boy" by Ruth B. I wanted to sing the song so I decided to audition. The auditions were the next day so I started practicing.
  • What if I didn't get it Izzy?
  • I bet you did great! Stop worrying so much!
  • When I got to the auditorium there where already girls starting to audition. I was really nervous but listening to others sing nervously helped me to calm down. The teacher, Mrs. Cruz was standing in front of the stage listening. I could tell by her face she wasn't totally loving all the voices she was hearing, this also made me feel better. This also made me a bit more nervous though.
  • Singers for play are: Kylie Kathia & Emma
  • Oh My Gosh. I got it. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • It was finally my turn to audition I was very nervous and my voice was shaking. I could tell that Mrs. Cruz was happy, but a little upset that I was so nervous. Once I finished my audition some of the other girls said I did really good. My nerves started to settle and i was feeling better.
  • Run Run lost boy they said to me...
  • After the audition all I could do was wait, which is defiantly the hardest part. I must of annoyed my friends talking about it the whole time. I had to wait about a week before I would know if I had gotten the part. I was going back and forth with myself the whole time, did I get the part, did i not get the part, it was hard.
  • When I got to school the next day there was a sign in the hall that said who had gotten what part. I was so nervous I didn't even want to see if I had gotten it. But when I finally got enough courage I looked I was so excited that i had gotten the part I think that I had probably screamed, if I wasn't at school. I was so excited and couldn't wait to start practice.
  • It was finally the night of the show. It has been about eight weeks since I had gotten the part and it is now December. The other singers, Kylie, Kathia, and I were nervous but really excited we had been practicing really hard the last eight weeks and were so ready for the show. Many people in my family showed up including my grandmother and cousins. My mom and dad were there too, so was my friend Izzy. I was so nervous this was about the most people that I have sang in front of.
