Storyboard Text

  • There once was a Princess who was fairest of them all and one day an evil witch took her and hide her away in a tower.
  • Her Prince came to save her, however he needed to figure out a way to get to her.
  • He wanted to know how tall the tower was and he knew that the angle was 76 degrees and the tower is 15 ft away so he uses trig and uses tan(76) X 15 = 60.1  but he doesn't have anything to climb with so he has to find another way.
  • 15ft l v
  • 76 degrees
  • So he thought he could try and climb to the second window, he knows that the angle is 76 still and the height is now 40ft so he uses 40/tan(76) = 9.9ft but he is too far away to see if the witch is hiding in that window so he goes somewhere else.
  • 40
  • 76 deegrees
  • He moves to the lower window which he can see into and is clear he knows that the window is 10 ft high and he is 5 ft away he needs to find the angle to jump into the window so he does tan-1(10/5) = 63.4 So he jumps into the window and saves her.
  • 10
  • 5
  • They live happily ever after.
