At the foot of the Himalayas there was a big strong monkey.
There was a crocodile dwelling in the Ganges. A crocodile mate saw the great frame of the monkey and said that she wanted to eat his heart.
The crocodile yelled at the monkey and asked him why he stays on that side of the river when there are better fruit on his side. The monkey said that the river was too deep and too wide. The crocodile offered to let him climb on his back and ride to the other side with him.
The crocodile plunged the monkey under the water. The monkey says "my good friend your are letting me sink!"The monkey asked why he was doing this and the crocodile said that his wife has a longing for his heart.
The monkey tells him that they don't keep their hearts inside them. He told him that they keep them in a fig tree.
The crocodile brought him to the fig tree and the monkey leaped off of him and climbed up the fig tree. He sat on the fig tree and said "oh silly crocodile, you thought that there were creatures that keep their hearts in a treetop!" The crocodile went back to the place he lived sad sorrowed.
