Solar radiation causes the water to warm up and cause evaporation.
Sun causes solar radiation
water from trees also evaporates, a process of transpiration.
After evaporation, the water turns into a liquid, a process called condensation.
After a large collection of ice crystals and dust, it rains which is a process of precipitation.
Water falls off the cliff from the pull of gravity (run-off).
Gravity causes the water to soak into the ground and soil, along with the crevices of the rock. This is called infiltrartion.
Groundwater goes into the lake becoming part of it.
