Charlie Unexpectedly shot and killed Van Horn when he thought that he was a monster and it supports the theme because it was so random and no one expected him to do that.
Charlie was accused by Charlie because he told the story of the aliens not wanting us to leave the street or else and it supports the theme because
ITS HIS FAULT!!!
All three of these scenes support the theme becuase of how unrealistic these scenes were and how they all supported the theme, "Things are not always what they seem". All of them were just weird in general and it wouldn't happen in real life, like accusing a kid of causing lights to go on and off and to turn the power off and turn a car off. And when the meteor went over the street, the power went out for everything and it was so confusing. And for the last theme, when Charlie killed Van Horn really suspiciously saying that he thought he was a monster and shot it was not what they seem
