  • In the House of Burgesses, was where many important documents or CHARTERS were signed.
  • The colonies were very important. For example, the HOUSE OF BURGESSES was in the southern colonies.
  • Back to the settlements.
  • Jamestown was a settlement that was not very successful. Many people died from diseases and low water supply

  • The Puritans went to seek religious freedom and that's what the got.
