  • Agreed!
  • Before we go in, what's our budget?
  • Around $1,000. Lets hope to find a lot of things on sale here!
  • Wow this place is so empty! Lets go to the store and buy some furniture. Lets hope some stuff is on sale!
  • OMG! Lets get this one! It was origionally $400, and now its 40% off! How much is it now?
  • Well, 400 multiplied by 0.4, or 40 percent is 160. Then we will subtract 160 from 400, which is 240. $240 is the perfect amount for a new couch!
  • These lights!!! The chandelier was $100, but is now 30% off, and the two candles are each $40, but 25% off. How much are they?
  • Well, 30% of 100 would be 30 dollars, so 100-30 is 70. For the two lights, 25% off 40 dollars would be 40 multiplied by .25, which is 10. And then You would do 40-10, to get 30. Then, 70 plus 30 is 100. Were basically getting the two candles for free!
  • Oooooo! A television, rug, chair and coffee table all for 300 dollars! And it's 50% off! How much is it?
  • Well, since it is 50 percent off is half, or 1/2, or 0.5, we'll just divide it by 2! So, 300 divided by 2 is $150!
  • Nice! We never even blew the budget! Now we still have, um, 1,000 - 490 is still $510!! YAY!!
  • So, with all of your sales today, you have $240 from the couch, $100 for the lights, and $150 for the entertainment set. In total that will be $490! Have a nice day!
  • Agreed!
  • I think this place looks great!
