  • The last major offensive from Germany on the western front. It was an attempt to push the allied front line west from northern France to northwest Belgium. The battle was one of the main turning points in the war and this eventually lead to the end of WWII.

  • Stalingrad ended of German advances into Europe and Russia. After the Germans lost in Stalingrad they made no further advances into Eastern Europe or Russia. Stalingrad was also very important because it was the Germans first major loss in WWII.

  • The Battle of the Bulge and Stalingrad were both major turning points in WWII. The battles were both gave loses to Germany.
