  • Martin Luther King Junior was not the type of person to sit around and let people be treated unjustly. Because of this, he decided to stand up for what he believed in.
  • Welcome to my church where we believe that all people should be treated equaly
  • He started a church that preached justice and equality for all.
  • Thank you so much for treating me with respect. I don't get that much anymore
  • He gave many speeches about ending segregation and soon became a very popular leader among thousands of people
  • He also led non-violent sit-ins because he was trying to end violence, so he refused to harm anyone while standing his ground.
  • Many black protesters supporting MLK Jr. were harmed by white police. However, King was not only supported by African-Americans; many white people stood for freedom as well.
  • Finally, Martin Luther King Jr. claimed freedom and justice for all.
