  • Today we will be learning about the water cycle. Let's begin!

  • Water enters the atmosphere from water bodies which is called evaporation and from plants which is called transpiration. Wind then transports the moisture through the atmosphere.

  • Condensation occurs next which is where little water droplets form in the atmosphere, producing clouds. 
  • Big droplets form when the little droplets combine. These big droplets then fall to Earth as precipitation. Precipitation can take many forms including rain, snow, sleet, and hail.

  • Water then either flows over the surface which is called runoff, or it seeps into the ground which is called infiltration.
