The first secession of the plebeian was in 494 BC. It was sparked by general discontent from the plebeians about the patricians actions. The asked for a more set rule of law. The solution was to create a decemvirate who would write of a set of laws. The final product of this secession was The twelve Tables, which were the laws of the Roman Republic.
There were many wars to promote stability. One of the famous ones being Coriolanus leading the Volscians to Rome. It was a devastating siege in which the Volscians might have won, but Coriolanus was stopped by his mother and decided to call of the siege. The Volscians then killed him after hearing this.

Appius Claudius was a highly regarded patrition. Nevertheless, one day he saw a beautiful woman and decided that he deserved her. He claimed that she was his slave and thus stole her from her real husband. These action are what began the second secession of the Plebeians in 449BC.

A man named Cincinnatus was a regular man but when his son jumped bail on a crime he had committed he was tormented by other plebeians. Over time he became a patrician and eventually during a crisis he became the Dictator. Even though he could have been mean to the plebeians he was kind and his example is highly regarded.

Rome's friends the Fabii get into a dispute with the Gauls and so the Romans send people to help. When the negotiations were going on however a Galic Cheif gets killed. The Gauls demand justice but instead the Romans honor them and the Gauls decide to attack Rome.
When the Gauls attack the Romans are unmatched for their force. They are forced to retreat some going to a hill fortress just outside of the city. The Gauls then enter the city and find it empty except for the elderly and a few plebeians. Nevertheless the kill them all and burn the city. After a while of starvation setting in the Gauls try to make a deal with the Romans for gold, but just then a Roman consul, Camillus, come and destroys the Gauls with his army and the people are saved.
