  • The day before the trial Atticus was about to get killed or beat up by people that do not want him to defend the victim, Tom Robinson
  • Turning Point
  • The first witness to the stand was Heck Tate. He claimed that he came by the house later on that day and say Mayella laying on the floor beaten up badly and blamed it on Tom Robinson.
  • Falling Action
  • The second witness to the stand was Mayella Ewell. She was lying to the judge and to Atticus Tom Robinsons lawyer, because her father was actually the one who beat her up for trying to get with Tom Robinson. She is lying that Tom Robinson tryed to rape her and abused her. 
  • Resolution
  • The third witness to the stand was Bob Ewell. He doesn't want to get caught for abusing Mayella so he is also telling a lie that he caught Tom Robinson raping his daughter and abusing her.
  • The victim of this trial is Tom Robinson. He lives close by the Ewells and often helps Mayella because he pitties her. He is married with children and didn't rape or abuse Mayella.
  • Atticus and Tom Robinson lost the case and now Tom Robinson has to get locked up for something that he didn't do. Atticus is leaving the Courthouse without looking at his kids, disappointed for the decision that the jury made.
