Storyboard Text

  • Hi everybody! If you want to learn about black holes, you came to the right place.
  • When a star runs out of fuel and cannot hold its weight, it shrinks because of the stars hydrogen layers pressing down on it making it smaller till it's smaller than an atom. The gravity is now very strong, so strong  that it pulls in everything that comes near it.
  • BLACK HOLE BIOLOGY CLASS
  • George, I think I have made an important discovery, but you mustn't tell no one. There are three layers to a black whole!
  • There is the outer layer called the Outer Event Horizon. You would be able to escape the gravity in this layer. The middle layer is called the Inner Event Horizon. You would not be able to escape the gravity here. The last layer, or the center is the singularity. The gravity is the strongest in this layer, so you would not be able to escape the gravity here.
  • Wait, what are black holes again?
  • OOOH really, what are they!
  • That black hole stole my purse.
  • UGGGGGGGGG
  • Mr. Blacboe, you are not guilty. Case is closed, all may leave.
  • Well, it wasn't my fault. I was simply doing my job, using my gravity, I clean up debris left in space. That's when a purse just got swept up. Everybody knows that you are not supposed to leave your personal stuff just laying around when near black holes. I simply couldn't do anything about it, it was her fault.
  • Well, I hope you learned a lot about black holes. But right now I better go, I have a tea party with a black hole coming up in about 5 minutes.
