Storyboard Text

  • Tom was just enjoying the view.
  • Man, what a view!
  • And on his way back, he tripped.
  • Well, I better get going back.
  • OW!
  • Postive Feedback
  • Uh, great, it's bleeding.
  • Wait, I think the bleeding's stopping!
  • The stimulus is what monitors the environment. The stimulus is the body experiencing a cut.
  • Now, I really should get home before I cut myself even more.
  • Receptors transfer the stimulus' information to the Control Center. The brain processes the body has had a cut.
  • The Conrol Center then decides the best response and tells the Effectors. The Brain tells Platelets to flood the site of the cut, and they will do so until the a Platlet Plug is formed over the cut to stop the bleeding.
  • The Body then returns back to it's original status of homeostasis due to the enhancement of the stimulus. The Body increased the amount of platelets until the cut stopped bleeding.
