It's so late, and I haven't found anything for my project about ancient India's math!
Here we go. Ancient India had a number system with the numbers 0-9, much like today. They also had the decimal system, also much like today. There was a mathematician named Arybhata who used astronomy and mathematics to discover that there were 365.258 exact days in a year, the earth is a sphere, and that the earth rotates around an axis.
Fellow people. I have learned using astronomy and mathematics
Arybhata then became a well known mathematician.
A week later, the girl got an A+ on her presentation.
