The Decline of Feudalism by Efrain Cervantes
Feudalism was the economic and political system that developed in Europe during the Middle Ages. The Bubonic Plague was one of the events that contributed to the decline of feudalism.
All of this was contained in the Black Death.
The Black death started since the 1330's. The plague was in Europe, Germany, France, England, Italy, Norway, and Russia.
Yay! More money and wealth! Hooray!
NO. We have to pay more money. What a disgrace.
Hooray. Praise the Lord.
Plague is an infectious disease caused by bacteria called Yersinia Pestis. These bacteria are found mainly in rodents particularly rats, and in the fleas that feed on them.
Hooray! We're are getting WEALTHIER. Oh, praise the Lord.
Symptoms or signs of the plague included fever, vomiting, fierce coughing and sneezing fits, egg-sized swelling or bumps. All of that described the Black Death.
The Bubonic plague contributed in the Decline of Feudalism by making lords and nobles weaker and vanishing away the powers that they had. It also made popularity of people decrease.
People were able to obtain power with the help of the Bubonic plague, it helped them by demanding more rights to the king because with the plague, many workers died so that meant that few workers that were left had to do the job that other workers had to do when they were there. Therefore, the people asked for more goods as an exchange to work more and harder. People were able to maintain power by threating the king in the way that they would say that if he didn't pay more or didn't pay what he was suppost to, they would leave and go to another kingdom.
