  • Expressing the kindess of Scout and Jem to be open to meeting Dill.
  • Chapter one "Meeting Dill"
  • Jem and Scout meet Dill in their hometown of Maycomb county, they also tell stories of Boo Radley. 
  • "Hi Dill" "Hi scout, Hi Jem"
  • Walter doesn't have money to pay for lunch, Cunningham's don't accept  money they can't pay back.
  • Chapter two "School begins"
  • The teacher was judging Cunningham's family about not having a lot of money.
  • Scout has her first day of school and Mrs. Maudie doesn't like her. In the teachers defense she thinks it's because she just moved there and don't know the people yet. 
  • Stop being mean to walter
  • Chapter three "Burris" 
  • :'(

  • Scout gets into a fight with Walter Cunningham and Jem invited him to lunch with them. Aticous said this to Scout "You never really know someone until you understand things from their point of view-until you crawl in their skin and walk around in it."
  • Walter Cunningham is being mean. 
  • Calpurnia is a person of tough love.  Also a person of color. Scouts perspective  of her is that shes bad and  thinks shes mean. She is actually an important  throughout the story. 
  • Character  traits about Scout, Jem, Dill, Atticus, Calpurnia, and Walter Cunningham
  • Scout is a fighter but partly a lover too. Signifigant through the whole book. 
  • He is a lawyer.  He is fictional and too good to be true. A highlight throughout the story. 
  • Jem is the one who always takes action on. Faces the fear of running up and touches the Radley house.
  • Jem (Walter Cunningham) is in second grade class  and he is ten.  He lives similar to Burris Ewlles. 
  • Chapter four "The knothole"
  • Scout found some chewing gum in the knothole of the tree and later two Indianhead coins with Jem. Scout goes in a tire and lands in the Radley place.
