  • So Dr.Linda how does my body fight this virus
  • Well Kayla when your sick your B-Cells create something called a antibody
  • And the antibody destroys the antigens and pathogens which are a fancy way of saying germs
  • hey Kayla there are also things called Killer cells and T-Cells. The killer cells kill the the germs hiding in the healthy cells and the T-Cells warn the body of the germs
  • What about when I get better what happes then? And am I able to get this same virus?
  • Then macrophage cleans up the bacteria and viruses in the body. Something called a memory cell keeps the antibodies ending upward here you don't get the same virus again.
