  • It is so cold.
  • The army was cold, wet, and hungry and everyone thought they had lost but Washington was not done fighting and lead the men.
  • It is so wet and freezing. I don't think we can do this anymore.
  • On Christmas Night, He lead men to crossed the Delaware, fought, and won the battle. He was so passionate about the cause and it showed.
  • The battle is no over. We will cross the Delaware River and win this battle.
  • George Washington went on to win the battle with his courage. He made many people proud and proved one power person and leader. He then turned back his command to Congress. People knew as the greatest man in the world afterwards.
  • I'm staving!
  • I'm freezing!
  • I'm not going to give up on you guys!
  • During the winter of Valley Forge, many of Washington's men were dying of hunger, diseases, and horrible weather.
  • I'm so sick!
  • We will get you guys men better to fight for tomorrow!
  • George Washington set up mini hospitals and well stations to help soldiers in need from disease and cold.
  • The winter of Valley Forge passed and many men were lucky enough to survive it. All of Washington's men were very grateful to him for taking care and never giving up on them. He was well respected from many people because of his determination.
