After Odysseus gave the Cyclops' some of his wine, the cyclops then started asking him questions.
"My name is Nohbody: mother, father, and friends, everyone calls me Nohbody." (line 275)
"Tell me, how are you called? I'll make a gift will please you." (line 264, 265)
Odysseus and his men sharpened a piece of wood and skewered it into the Cyclops' eye.
Odysseus escapes the Cyclops' cave. The Cyclops says that he is the son of Poseidon and his father will make Odysseus' way back home miserable. Odysseus finally tells the Cyclops his real name and where he is from.
