- Welcome to the life of a lumber jack!
- What do we do?
- That is the Mississippi Lumber co. for ya!
- I don't want to be here anymore. I miss Germany.
- Micheal was a newcomer, an immigrant from Germany. Here he is, going to his new job as a lumberjack. He is not very happy to be a lumberjack, but is ready to start his new life.
- Micheal wonders, what am I doing here? Then, a young lad named John comes up.
- John explains what Micheal has to do, but Micheal does not like it along the Mississippi River.
- Today, we will travel to Washington, as the Minnesota Lumber has decreased.
- Micheal starts with cutting down trees. he wonders, will they run out of trees at this rate?
- Micheal starts to like his job after a couple of months. But, slowly, the number of trees in Minnesota starts decreasing by a ton.
- Micheal, John, and a bunch of other men are here today to travel to Washington with Frederick Weyerhaeuser with their job.
