The dust bowl was a period in america from 1930-1936 where there were severe dust storms during a dry period , and dust swept from texas to nebraska.
So many families were impacted by the dust bowl, that many familie just packed up and moved away, to find a better life. About 7,000 people died.
In order to even go outside, people crawled out their own windows because the dust blocked their doors, then they shoveled the dust away from their doors. Families had to survive on cornbread and milk
