  • The exposition is when Old Major had to give them a "talk." All of the animals were introduced. For example, Clover, Benjamin, Boxer, Mollie, pigs, and the three dogs. We got introduced to all of them when Old Major gave them a speech. This speech gave us an idea of what might happen next. The readers knew what the setting was because he gave the speech in the barn. This is where most of the events happen in the story.

  • The inciting incident is when Farmer Jones gets kicked out of the farm by the animals. This event was called the Rebellion. All of the animals ran Mr.Jones out of the farm, and now the pigs are in charge of everyone.
  • Rising Action
  • One of the rising actions is when the rebellion was over all of the animals celebrated. They were so glad that Farmer Jones was out,and the animals took his things and burned all of it.
  • Another Rising Action is when the animals made up the seven commandments. They wrote this down on a wall, so they could remember them and make sure that they follow them specifically.
  • Next, when the pigs were put in charge they took over everyone and told them what to do. They put them to work and the pigs directed them to places.
